Lucknow: To accommodate the surge in passenger traffic during the festive season, Northern Railway has announced the operation of a special train between Kolkata and Alam Nagar. The 03107/03108 Kolkata–Alam Nagar Special will make seven round trips in Oct and Nov.Train 03107 will depart from Kolkata every Thursday on Oct 15, 22 and 29, and Nov 5, 12, 19 and 26. It will reach Varanasi at 2.05 pm, Sultanpur at 4.45 pm, Utraitia Junction at 6.30 pm and terminate at Alam Nagar at 7.45 pm the following day.The return service, train 03108, will leave Alam Nagar every Saturday on Oct 17, 24 and 31, and Nov 7, 14, 21 and 28. It will depart Alam Nagar at 1.45 am and reach Kolkata at 10.30 pm via its scheduled route.The train will have 22 coaches, including four AC 3-tier, 10 sleeper, six general second class and two SLRD coaches.
