Surat: A four-day special drive has been organised by election authorities in the state to add names of left-out voters, restore deleted entries and enrol eligible voters who have now become eligible.Sharing details, district collector Tejas Parmar said booth-level officers (BLOs) will be present at all polling stations from 10am to 5pm on Oct 11, Oct 18, Oct 25 and Nov 1, to receive claims and objections. Citizens can visit their polling stations, submit Form 6 and apply with documents for inclusion in the electoral roll or for corrections.Surat district currently has 36,66,896 registered voters across 16 assembly constituencies. There are 5,113 polling stations in the district and an equal number of BLOs deployed.Eligible citizens who have completed 18 years of age, or those whose names are missing from the rolls, can apply through Form 6.
