Varanasi: The participants of Janambhumi to Karmabhumi Yatra — Seva Yatris — have been reaching the city, the karmabhumi of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, from different routes since Tuesday afternoon. They left the janambhumi (birthplace) of PM Modi in Vadnagar on Sept 17 on motorcycles.The Seva Yatris entered the city through Mirzapur, Jaunpur City, PDDU Nagar Chandauli, Maniyahu, Kerakat, Chainpur of Jaunpur and Azamgarh routes. UP ministers Anil Rajbhar, Ravindra Jaiswal, Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, Hansraj Vishwakarma, MLAs Neelkath Tiwari, Awadhesh Singh, T Ram, Saurabh Srivastava, MLC Dharmendra Singh and Mayor Ashok Tiwari, along with party supporters, welcomed the participants at nine points.While passing through Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Chandauli, Mirzapur and Bhadohi, the Seva Yatris were accorded a grand welcome by the BJP leaders and workers at many points. Route diversions were also ensured in districts like Azamgarh during the movement of this yatra.
