Chennai: Leading auto component maker Rane Group and Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani have signed an MoU. The collaboration will focus on emerging automotive technologies, including advanced electronics, autonomous mechanical systems, smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence applications aimed at improving productivity and operational efficiency. Rane Group chairman Harish Lakshman said the rapid evolution of automotive components, driven by electronics and autonomous platforms, requires stronger industry-academia collaboration to develop new technologies and solutions.
