Bengaluru: An 18-year-old diploma student was found dead at the hostel of Govt Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) in Channarayapatna of Devanahalli taluk, 47km away from the city, Monday morning.The victim is Johel, a resident of Jayanagar in south Bengaluru. Police said Johel attended college from 9am till 10.30am and returned to the hostel. His hostel mates, who returned during lunch hours around 1pm, found him hanging.Channarayapatna police didn’t find any death note. The school said Johel was a bright student and didn’t talk much. The reason behind his extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
