Varanasi: : The Wheat Products Promotion Society (WPPS) in association with the Uttar Pradesh Roller Flour Mills Association (UPRFMA), will organise the WPPS CEO’s Conclave 2026 here on July 9 and 10 on the theme ‘Redefining Wheat Value Chains for a New India.’The two-day conclave is expected to bring together over 300 industry leaders, flour millers, wheat traders, food manufacturers, grain procurement professionals, technology providers, researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders from India and abroad. The event will focus on the rapidly evolving wheat sector, driven by changing consumer preferences, increasing demand for value-added products, nutrition and fortification initiatives, supply chain modernisation, sustainability concerns and advancements in processing technologies.According to organisers, the conclave will serve as a platform for discussions on emerging opportunities, industry challenges and collaborative strategies to strengthen India’s wheat value chain. Ajay Goyal, Chairman of WPPS, said the wheat industry plays a crucial role in the country’s food security, nutrition and economic growth.He noted that greater collaboration among farmers, millers, traders, food manufacturers, researchers and policymakers is essential as the sector continues to evolve.The programme will feature technical sessions, panel discussions and networking opportunities involving CEOs, business leaders, traders, millers, technology providers, ingredient companies and policymakers. Organisers said delegates will also get an opportunity to experience Varanasi’s cultural heritage through specially curated hospitality and networking events.
