Gurgaon: After light drizzle in the morning and afternoon on Monday, the city is likely to see isolated light to moderate rain on Tuesday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The weather is expected to turn dry from Wednesday.Gurgaon remained partly cloudy on Monday and received light drizzle at intervals. The city recorded a minimum temperature of 21.2°C, 0.7°C lower than the previous day. Gurgaon KVK automatic weather station recorded no rainfall in the 24 hours ending 8:30 am, as the drizzle occurred later in the day.For Tuesday, IMD has forecast isolated light to moderate rainfall in northern parts of Haryana, but no weather warning has been issued for the state. Gurgaon is not among the districts specifically listed for rainfall in the Tuesday district-wise forecast, which forecasts isolated rain for Chandigarh, Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Karnal.IMD’s broader state forecast, however, says isolated rainfall is likely in Haryana on Sept 29, before the weather turns dry thereafter.The department said the southwest monsoon withdrawal line continues to pass through parts of north India, while a western disturbance is present as a cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan and adjoining Jammu.From Wednesday, dry weather is forecast across Haryana, with the IMD outlook showing dry conditions through Oct 4.Across Haryana, light to moderate rain occurred at isolated places in the 24 hours ending Monday morning. The highest maximum temperature was 34°C at Sirsa, while Bhiwani recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 19.5°C.
