Gurgaon: Residents who have not yet received their enumeration forms under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls have been urged to contact the designated helpline numbers.Officials said complaints will ensure that the concerned booth-level officer (BLO) visits the voter’s residence and completes the process. The administration cautioned that completion of the exercise within the prescribed timeline is mandatory for all voters, failing which their names could be removed from the electoral roll.Although the distribution of enumeration forms began on June 14, many residents are yet to receive them. Officials have directed field staff to ensure time-bound distribution and collection of forms by reaching every voter in their assigned areas. Voters have also been urged to actively participate in the campaign and provide accurate and complete information to BLOs.District election officer and DC Uttam Singh said, “The objective of this campaign is to make the voter list more accurate, updated and error-free so that the name of every eligible citizen can be correctly recorded in the voter list.”He added that if the BLO concerned has not yet reached the home of any voter with the enumeration form, then such voters can call the election commission’s toll-free number 1950 or on the helpline numbers 0124-6934034 for Pataudi Assembly constituency, 0124-2570029 and 0124-4268806 for Badshahpur, 8700751185 for Gurgaon Assembly constituency and 9466142565 for Sohna Assembly constituency.Singh said electoral registration officers (AROs) and additional electoral registration officers (Additional AROs) have been asked to regularly conduct field visits in their respective areas and review the work of BLOs.
