Gorakhpur: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday held a Janata Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple for the second consecutive day, meeting around 150 people and hearing their grievances.Interacting individually with citizens seated outside Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, the chief minister collected applications and directed officials to ensure the prompt and fair resolution of complaints.“Do not worry. Effective action will be taken on every genuine problem,” he assured the people present there.The CM instructed administrative and police officials to dispose of complaints in a transparent and time-bound manner.Taking a stern view of complaints related to crime and illegal land occupation, he directed police officers to initiate strict action against offenders.Several people sought financial assistance for medical treatment. The chief minister asked officials to expedite the preparation of hospital estimates, assuring applicants that govt funds would be released as soon as the required documents were received.During the interaction, Yogi also met women who had come with their children. He blessed the children and distributed chocolates.Earlier in the morning, Yogi visited the temple gaushala, where he fed jaggery to cows and bulls.
