Hyderabad: Even as Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president T Jagga Reddy is reportedly planning to submit his inquiry report on the infighting between the supporters of Thungathurthy MLA Mandula Samuel and other Congress leaders on Saturday to the TPCC leadership, another row erupted on Friday with Samuel and Munugode legislator Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy trading charges against other.The two Congress legislators traded charges over the allegations of interference in others’ assembly segments. The row began after Rajgopal Reddy attended a meeting with farmers affected by land acquisition for the Regional Ring Road at the Yadadri Bhongir district collector’s office.He told media persons that he had personally persuaded the Congress high command to allot the party ticket to Mandula Samuel and also his followers ensured that Samuel won the 2023 assembly elections. “Now Samuel has started speaking against me. But I am not against anyone. It is my fault for getting the party ticket to a wrong candidate and I am apologising to the Congress workers who worked for the victory of Samuel in Thungathurthy constituency for doing so,” Rajgopal said.Responding strongly, Samuel said the combined Nalgonda district was not Rajgopal Reddy’s personal property. “I won the election with a majority of 50,000 votes and had never pleaded for Rajgopal Reddy’s support. Rajgopal should focus on the development of his own constituency,” he said.
