Ludhiana: Police have registered a case against an unidentified woman and her associate after a video of her dancing on the Ferozepur Road bridge went viral. In the footage, the woman is performing to a Punjabi song amidst moving traffic, sparking concerns over public safety and disorder.Acting on a complaint by ASI Paramjit Singh, Division Number 8 police registered the case under sections 296, 270, and 292 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), covering obscene acts and public nuisance. Even though the pair remains unidentified, cybercrime cell teams are analyzing digital footprints and social media accounts to trace them. Police authorities have emphasised that the stunt not only caused an “annoyance” but posed a significant danger to commuters on the busy thoroughfare.
