Ahmedabad: A senior govt officer from Motera has complained to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation after he was allegedly sold bakery products with fungus on them. He had ordered the products on an e-commerce outlet. The officer said mould was found on bread ordered for the family. “When the issue was flagged, the store allegedly failed to respond appropriately, following which the officer dialled 112 and lodged a police complaint,” said a senior AMC official. A separate complaint was also filed with the AMC. Civic officials said, “Food samples were collected from the store in the presence of the complainant and a notice issued to the e-commerce company.”
