Bengaluru: A 40-year-old goods truck driver was allegedly beaten to death with a nail-studded piece of plywood following a trivial dispute over loading goods onto the truck near Mallathahalli around midnight on Friday.The deceased, Ganesh, was a native of Uttar Pradesh, while the suspect has been identified as Kanchan. The two had been assigned to collect materials removed from a BWSSB worksite and transport them to Mumbai.According to police, the duo was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when they got into an argument. During the altercation, Kanchan allegedly attacked Ganesh with a piece of plywood with nails, killing him. He then fled the spot.Annapoorneshwarinagar police have registered a case.
