Chandigarh: The manifesto committee of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Friday announced that it would only include suggestions which could be implemented in its manifesto and stood for treating the same as a legal document.Committee member secretary Daljit Singh Cheema said the committee on Friday took suggestions from the party’s scheduled caste, backward caste and bazigar front wings under the chairmanship of its chairman Balwinder Singh Bhunder.Cheema said representatives of the various wings met the committee separately and gave their suggestions in writing besides discussing each issue in detail.He said the committee would also take feedback from the party’s women, youth, trader, NRI and employees’ front and farmers. “We are also committed to visiting various parts of the state so that the sentiments of the common man can also be recorded,” he added.
