Ajmer: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Tuesday provisionally allowed all candidates who applied online for the 2021 sub-inspector recruitment exam to appear in the re-examination scheduled for Sept 20, 2026.Earlier, only candidates who had approached Rajasthan High Court were permitted to take the re-exam.RPSC secretary Ramniwas Mehta said the decision followed the Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur, interim order of July 2-2026.Under the revised arrangement, all candidates who had applied online for the original SI Recruitment Examination-2021 will be included provisionally.Candidates who want to appear in the re-examination must give consent for the use of the photograph, signature and thumb impression submitted through One Time Registration in their original online application. They must also submit the form and complete verification through the OTP sent to their registered mobile number.RPSC said candidates can update the required details in their application forms from July 8 to July 22. Those who have already updated their applications under the May 8 notification need not make the corrections again.After making corrections, candidates must accept the self-declaration form displayed on the screen and verify it through OTP. Applications will not be accepted if this step is not completed.RPSC said candidates will be fully responsible for completing the process.
