Purple Line trains in Bengaluru to be suspended for 2 hours Sunday

Bengaluru: To carry out maintenance work between Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, Majestic, and Sir M Visvesvaraya Station, Central College, on the Purple Line, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced suspension of Metro services Sunday (May 10) from Sri Balagangadharanatha Swamiji Station, Hosahalli, to Cubbon Park Station.Services on this stretch will be suspended from 7am to 9am, a BMRCL press note said. However, during the period, services from terminal stations will continue to operate. From Challaghatta side, trains will run till Vijayanagar, while from Kadugodi side, services will operated up to MG Road. There will be no disruption in services on Green and Yellow lines.After 9am, normal services will be restored on the entire Purple Line from Challaghatta to Kadugodi (Whitefield).
