Mumbai: The monsoon session of the state legislature will be held in Mumbai from June 22 to July 10. This decision was taken in a meeting of the legislative assembly and legislative council business advisory committee on Monday.It is unlikely that there will be a leader of the opposition in the assembly and council in the state legislature’s monsoon session. The legislature hasn’t taken any decision on the letter from Shiv Sena (UBT) seeking the post in the assembly and from the Congress for the council.The meeting was attended by chairman of the legislative council Ram Shinde, speaker of the legislative assembly Rahul Narvekar, CM Devendra Fadnavis, Dy CMs Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar, deputy speaker Anna Bansode, minister for higher and technical education and parliamentary affairs Chandrakant Patil, minister for food and civil supplies Chhagan Bhujbal, MLAs Sudhir Mungantiwar, Deepak Kesarkar, Nana Patole and Jayant Patil, MLCs Neelam Gorhe, Anil Parab, Prasad Lad, Hemant Patil, Praveen Darekar, Vikram Kale and Satej Patil, and secretary of the legislature Jitendra Bhole and senior officials.
