Med to cosmetics, YEIDA OKs 8 projects worth Rs 3.2k crore
YEIDA handed over letters of intent (LoIs) to eight industrial investors on Tuesday

Noida: Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) on Tuesday issued letters of intent to eight industrial investors, paving the way for investments worth Rs 3,181 crore and the creation of 18,126 jobs. Officials said the proposed units span sectors such as automobiles, electronics, medical devices, food processing, cosmetics and steel furniture.“These investors will soon establish projects across various industrial sectors near the Airport,” YEIDA CEO RK Singh said.Samvardhana Motherson International Limited has been allotted land to set up an automotive components manufacturing unit with a proposed investment of Rs 1,156 crore. Balar Marketing will receive eight acres to establish an integrated smart electrical manufacturing unit, with an investment of Rs 300 crore. Triveni Almirah will get 10 acres for a steel almirah and furniture manufacturing unit, for which it plans to invest Rs 375 crore.Anondita Healthcare will set up a Rs 500 crore medical and healthcare gloves manufacturing facility on eight acres. Additionally, Crispy City Foods will establish a food processing and packaging unit on four acres with an investment of Rs 122 crore, while Innovex Products will also set up a Rs 140 crore food processing and packaging unit on three acres.A G Organica, a company dealing in perfume, cosmetics and personal care, will set up its manufacturing unit on three acres with an investment of Rs 259 crore. Apaar Infratech has been issued a letter of intent for a 2.5-acre plot to set up a printed circuit board and electronics component manufacturing unit, with a proposed investment of Rs 29.30 crore.Singh said the Authority is committed to providing investors with a transparent, efficient and industry-friendly environment. “These projects will accelerate industrial development while generating large-scale employment opportunities towards establishing Uttar Pradesh as a leading manufacturing and investment hub,” he added.Around 3,175 industrial plots have been allotted in the area so far, of which lease deeds have been executed for 2,495. Across specialised parks – including apparel, toy, MSME and medical devices – the Authority has developed 1,236 plots. Of these, 1,122 have been allotted, 771 have lease deeds, 206 have sanctioned building maps, and 92 have received completion certificates.
