Mohali: In a bid to improve civic services and address pending grievances, mayor Sarabjit Singh Samana and MLA Kulwant Singh have launched ward-wise public feedback meetings across the city.The drive aims to identify gaps in development works, gather direct feedback and fix accountability for delays. The duo is jointly interacting with residents, RWAs and village representatives to understand local issues and push for early resolution.The outreach also includes visits to wards and villages to assess civic infrastructure and ongoing works on the ground.Residents have been urged to flag issues related to sanitation, roads, streetlights, drainage, water supply and parks. A comprehensive, area-wise list of grievances and demands is being compiled for review with the departments concerned.The mayor said the exercise is aimed at resolving pending issues while identifying lapses in execution and fixing responsibility. “We are preparing a detailed list of grievances and will ensure accountability wherever delays or shortcomings are found,” he said.The MLA said direct engagement with residents helps prioritise works and evaluate civic performance. “Our focus is on transparency, timely redressal and better coordination between departments,” he said.Residents welcomed the initiative, while accompanying officials were directed to act on urgent issues on the spot.
