Ahmedabad: A Gandhinagar resident has accused her husband of verbally abusing, assaulting and issuing death threats to her and other family members over the key to their penthouse. According to her complaint filed with Adalaj police on Saturday, the husband created a ruckus and also threatened to kill his son, daughter-in-law and nephew. The complaint states that after lunch on Saturday, he demanded the key to the penthouse, used by the son and daughter-in-law. When his wife refused, he allegedly used abusive language and assaulted her. He argued with his son and nephew and used abusive language against the daughter-in-law as well, the complaint states. As the dispute escalated, the woman called the emergency helpline 112. Police arrived at their residence and took the family members to Adalaj police station where the complaint was registered.
