Chandigarh: Chandigarh Police has arrested a Maloya resident for allegedly stealing cash and valuables from a temple in Sector 42.Police said GK Giridhar of Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha Mandir, Sector 42, lodged a complaint on July 3, reporting the theft of Rs 15,000-Rs 16,000 in cash and a brass kalash from the temple.During the investigation, police arrested Sahil, a resident of Maloya, in connection with the theft. A case under Section 305(A) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered at Sector 36 police station.
