Both accused are currently lodged in Yerawada Central Prison. After his father’s cremation, Kuldeep said Devichand had been in severe shock following Ketan’s death, but did not share his grief with other family members. “He even participated in the candle march in our housing complex, seeking justice for Ketan,” Kuldeep said.Kuldeep said his father attended all the rituals after Ketan’s death. Two days ago, Devichand’s condition deteriorated and he was admitted to a hospital. He passed away soon after on Saturday night.“We lost two family members within 17 days. My father’s last wish was that the people responsible for Ketan’s death should be hanged,” said Kuldeep.
