ISC results: 98.95% pass, girls outshine boys

Ahmedabad: Around 98.95% of students cleared the ISC (Class XII) exams in the state, with results declared Thursday by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Girls outperformed boys, recording a pass percentage of 99.69 compared to boys at 98.37%. A total of 2,194 students — 1,230 boys and 964 girls — from 29 schools appeared for the ISC examinations across the state.In Ahmedabad, Ritvikk Kannan of Anand Niketan (Satellite) topped the Science stream with 98%, while Kunal Chandani led Commerce with 97.75%. Vaidehi Rathod secured the top spot in Humanities with 96.75%. At Jamnabai Narsee School, Dhavanika Choudhary (97.25%), Mitra Bhatia (96%), and Aditya Lohia (96%) topped Humanities, Science and Commerce streams respectively. Hridayee Zala scored 92.25% to lead science at Zydus School for Excellence (Vejalpur), while Shiv Jimit Shah (97%) and Tanisha Bhatia (97%) topped Commerce and Humanities streams there. At Lalji Mehrotra Lions School, Drashti Solanki led Science with 97%. Dhruvansh Jhanwar and Krisha Raval topped Commerce and Humanities with 95.30% and 83.30% respectively. Vyom Patel scored 95.75% to top Science at SGVP International School, while Aaditya Shah secured 96.50% to top Commerce. At Anand Niketan (Shilaj), Manya Agarwal topped Commerce with 99.3%, while Rudra Patel and Reva Rao led Science and Humanities with 98.5% and 98% respectively. At J G International School, Ananya Gupta scored 94.8% in Science, while Vinit Shah topped Commerce with 88.4%. Girls lead again in Class X Girls outperformed boys in ICSE (Class X) exams as well, recording a pass percentage of 99.62%, compared to boys at 98.37%. Results announced Thursday by CISCE brought cheer to most students. A total of 3,846 students from 39 schools appeared across the state, with an overall pass percentage of 99.3%. At Zydus School for Excellence, Albert Berkmans emerged as topper with 99.4%. At Jamnabai Narsee School, Katha Kanani scored 98.2% to lead, with 56 of 103 students securing above 90%. At Lalji Mehrotra Lions School, Divya Patel topped with 99%. At Anand Niketan (Satellite), Viana Shah secured 99.20%, while Paawak Parikh topped Anand Niketan (Shilaj) with 98.7%. Pal Patel scored 95.8% to top SGVP International School. Danvanth Umesh led The New Tulip International School with 98.2%. At J G International School, Daivya Parmar topped with 97.8%.
