Hanuman Vatika, Pashupatinath temple designs finalised

Panchkula: The design of the proposed Hanuman Vatika and Pashupatinath Temple at the Mata Mansa Devi Temple complex has been finalised. Spread over nearly three acres, the Hanuman Vatika will be developed by HSVP at an estimated cost of ₹13 crore and will feature theme-based sections such as Raghunandan Kunj, Janaki Kunj, Hanuman Kunj, Tulsi Kunj, Luv-Kush Kunj and Nal-Neel Kunj, besides fountains and a Yagya-shala.The decisions were reviewed at a meeting chaired by deputy commissioner and Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board chief administrator Satpal Sharma. Officials were directed to prepare detailed project estimates within 10 days.The proposed Pashupatinath Temple will be inspired by Mount Kailash, featuring a Shivling-shaped sanctum, a Manasarovar-like water body and swastika-shaped entrances on all four sides. The meeting also reviewed ongoing works, including the Sanskrit College project, which is about 70% complete, and renovation of Lakshmi Dharamshala, scheduled for completion by September 2026.
