GURGAON: The Haryana government has carried out a major IPS reshuffle, appointing new officers to two key operational posts in Gurgaon — DCP Crime and DCP West — while transferring incumbent DCP West Karan Goyal to Karnal as SP.Nitish Agarwal, IPS (2017 batch), has been posted as DCP Crime, Gurgaon, replacing Hitesh Yadav, HPS, who was holding the charge as an additional responsibility. Agarwal was previously posted as SP, Palwal.Meanwhile, Y.V.R. Sashi Sekhar, IPS (2022 batch), has been posted as DCP West, Gurgaon. He was earlier serving as Additional SP, Nuh. His appointment follows the transfer of Karan Goyal.Karan Goyal, IPS (SPS), has been transferred from the post of DCP West, Gurgaon, and posted as SP, Karnal.The reshuffle also assigns Rajesh Kumar, IPS (2014 batch), additional charge as SP, Community Policing and Outreach & Scrutiny, Gurgaon, alongside his existing responsibilities as SP, SCB.
