Ludhiana: A search is on for four girls who disappeared under mysterious circumstances in three separate incidents across the city.Police registered the first-iInformation reports (FIRs) on Thursday, deploying investigators to scan security footage and trace the minors.The first incident occurred on May 26, when a 13-year-old girl and her 16-year-old friend left a house to buy a birthday cake and snacks for an at-home party and didn’t return. Police have registered a case of wrongful confinement against unidentified suspects.In a second case, a 14-year-old girl went missing from her home on May 3. Her family spent weeks searching independently before notifying the police on Thursday, prompting a quick investigation.The third disappearance involves a 17-year-old girl who left her home on May 4 to buy clothes at a shopping mall. Police have charged a youth in connection with her disappearance.
