Palanpur: The Food and Drug Control Administration (FDCA), Banaskantha, seized 188 litres of suspected adulterated ghee worth approximately Rs 1.22 lakh during a raid on a warehouse in Deesa.The team conducted a surprise inspection at the warehouse of Savay Milk Products, located beneath Shanti Apartment in Risala Bazaar. The firm’s owner, Vipul Panchiwala, was allegedly found storing the ghee without a valid licence.Suspecting the quality of the stock, officials collected a sample of ‘Health Premium Pure Ghee’ in 500 ml packs under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. The sample has been sent to a govt laboratory for analysis.
