Hyderabad: Furniture manufacturer Fabience is setting up a greenfield premium furniture manufacturing facility near Hyderabad as part of a strategic capacity expansion and global export growth strategy.The 1.5 lakh sq ft facility, to be set up at an investment of Rs 50 crore, is expected to be completed next year and generate direct employment for about 100 people, Fabience managing director Raj Venu Gopal Takkallapally said.The Hyderabad-based furniture player said the upcoming plant will primarily expand production of movable furniture, including sofas, chairs, loungers and standalone products, while supporting the company’s modular furniture lines.The facility will be equipped with advanced Italian and German machinery and automated manufacturing systems focused on precision, consistency and efficiency.Fabience, which was founded in 2018, currently operates a 2 lakh sq ft manufacturing facility in Hyderabad with about 200 employees. The company manufactures modular kitchens, wardrobes, panelling and premium movable furniture.
