Chandigarh: Haryana assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan on Wednesday chaired a multi-departmental review meeting to expedite the implementation of the Karnal Ring Road project, directing all concerned agencies to resolve pending issues in a time-bound manner.The meeting focused on clearing bottlenecks affecting the project, with particular emphasis on electricity-related works that have delayed progress. Senior officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL), Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN), Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) and the Karnal district administration were present at the meeting.Emphasising that public convenience should remain the top priority, the assembly Speaker asked officials to complete all required works within the stipulated timelines while ensuring seamless coordination among departments.
