Ahmedabad: With cloud cover gone on Tuesday, the city recorded a rise in maximum temperature. At 35.8 degrees celsius, it was 1.8 degrees above normal. At 26.3 degrees, the minimum temperature, too, was 1.3 degrees above normal. Wednesday could be a cloudy day, according to India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) forecast.While some parts of Gujarat could receive sporadic rain, IMD has not issued any weather warning for the week. The withdrawal of southwest monsoon has already begun from parts of Rajasthan. It is likely that it will withdraw from parts of Saurashtra and Kutch in the next two days.On Tuesday, 45 talukas received 1mm or more rain. Una in Gir-Somnath recorded 69mm till 8pm, followed by 66mm in Rajula (Amreli), and 60mm in Ranavav (Porbandar) among others.
