Pathankot: A man narrowly escaped after his car fell into a deep drain near Baulian. The incident occurred when he was reversing the vehicle. The area was reportedly dark at the time, adding to the risk. According to reports, the local residents rushed to the spot and, after considerable effort, managed to rescue the driver from the submerged car.The youth, identified as 36-year-old Rajinder, claimed he escaped unharmed but his newly purchased car suffered significant damage. The vehicle was later pulled out of the drain with the help of a crane after nearly two hours.He said he had bought the car just 10 days ago.
