CHARKHI DADRI: At least seven people were injured, two of them seriously, after three unidentified armed men allegedly opened indiscriminate fire on an Scorpio SUV near a police station in Charkhi Dadri, near Gurgaon on Thursday, news agency PTI reported citing police.According to PTI, the assailants, who were on foot, fired 10–15 rounds at the occupants of the vehicle.The seven victims had just attended a hearing at a local court and were beginning their return journey when the attack took place, PTI reported. Police said bullet marks were visible all over the SUV.Deputy superintendent of police (Headquarters), Charkhi Dadri, Dheeraj Kumar, told reporters that three men opened fire on the vehicle in the afternoon, targeting its occupants.“Ten to fifteen rounds were fired in the incident,” he said.Kumar said all seven injured were rushed to two hospitals in Charkhi Dadri, from where the two seriously injured were referred to PGIMS Hospital in Rohtak.Multiple teams have been constituted to arrest the accused, he said.“At this stage, we cannot say whether the incident resulted from personal enmity or a gang war.
