Awareness programme held at 11th NDRF on 11th Ayurveda-Day

Varanasi: On the occasion of the 11th Ayurveda Day, a special awareness programme was organised at the 11th Battalion, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Varanasi on Thursday.The programme was coordinated by Dr Vivek Singh, medical officer of the 11th Battalion, NDRF. Expert doctors from Govt Ayurvedic College, Varanasi, Dr Shweta Mishra and Dr Nitin Sharma, shared valuable information on the usefulness of Ayurveda and its importance in daily life.The experts highlighted various aspects of a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet, regular daily routine, yoga and exercise, mental health, and disease prevention. Interacting with NDRF personnel, they emphasised that a healthy body and a healthy mind are the foundation of better efficiency and encouraged them to adopt the principles of Ayurveda in their daily lives.Officers and personnel of the 11th NDRF participated in the programme and gained important insights related to health protection, disease prevention and healthy living. The main objective of the programme was to create awareness among NDRF personnel about health preservation, disease prevention and overall well-being, while promoting the importance of Ayurveda and a healthy lifestyle.
