Guwahati: The Assam assembly’s budget session was adjourned sine die on Wednesday, two days ahead of schedule, following flooding in the state. Originally scheduled to end on July 31 after beginning on July 6, the session was curtailed to allow MLAs to return to their constituencies and supervise relief and rehabilitation works, reports Kangkan Kalita.
