Bengaluru: Air travellers heading to Kerala will soon have a direct overnight bus option from Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), with Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) launching a new Flybus service between the airport and Kozhikode from Aug 15.Designed primarily for airport passengers, the premium service will enable travellers arriving at KIA to continue their journey to north Kerala without having to enter Bengaluru city to board a bus.The service will depart from KIA at 10.45pm every day and reach Kozhikode at 7.15am. En route, the bus will stop at Yelahanka, Hebbal, Nayandahalli Metro Station, Mysuru, Hunsur, Gonikoppa, Ponnampet, Kutta, Mananthawady and Kalpetta, offering convenient connectivity to key destinations in Karnataka and Kerala.KSRTC fixed the fare at Rs 1,500 for the entire journey from Bengaluru airport to Kozhikode. Passengers travelling to intermediate destinations have to pay Rs 960 to Mysuru, Rs 1,200 to Gonikoppa, Rs 1,350 to Mananthawady and Rs 1,400 to Kalpetta.The return service from Kozhikode will depart at 7.30pm and reach KIA at 4.15 am, making it a convenient option for passengers catching early-morning international and domestic flights from Bengaluru.
