Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad City district education officer (DEO) has asked all grant-in-aid secondary and higher secondary schools in the East and West zones to submit details of vacancies eligible for the third round of gyan sahayak recruitment.The vacancies that remained unfilled after the first two recruitment rounds will be considered for the third round. Schools have been instructed to verify the vacancy details listed in the Excel sheets shared by the secondary and higher secondary sections of the DEO office.The DEO has specifically sought details of posts where Gyan Sahayaks selected in the first or second round either did not join duty or resigned after joining. Such vacancies must be reported afresh for inclusion in the third-round recruitment process.Schools have been directed to enter the required information in the Excel sheet provided by the DEO office and submit a hard copy in person to its Secondary Branch.The deadline for submission is noon on Oct 5. The DEO office has stated that vacancy details submitted after the deadline will not be considered.The exercise is aimed at preparing an updated list of eligible vacant posts before the third round of recruitment.
