Ahmedabad: Cloudy weather brought light to moderate showers to several parts of the city on Saturday evening. By 8pm, the city had recorded an average rainfall of 6mm, while light drizzle continued in some areas.Across the state, 59 talukas received 1mm or more rainfall. Nadiad in Kheda recorded the highest rainfall at 61mm, followed by Matar in Kheda with 42mm, Kheda with 32mm, and Lathi in Amreli and Sojitra in Anand with 30mm each.IMD forecast a cloudy sky for Sunday, with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers likely. On Saturday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 33.1 degrees celsius, 0.9 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature stood at 24.4 degrees celsius, 0.6 degrees below normal. Relative humidity at 8.30am was 89%.The forecast also indicated the possibility of light to moderate showers in parts of the state on Sunday, with no weather warning issued.
