Hyderabad: The Telangana govt has posted an assistant executive engineer (public health) to the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation after she reported back to duty following an unauthorised absence of nearly 19 months. The posting has been made pending regularisation of the period of absence.According to the G.O issued by the Metropolitan Area and Urban Development (MA&UD) Department, A Girija, assistant executive engineer (public health), remained absent from duty without authorisation from Nov 1, 2024, to May 29, 2026. She submitted her joining report to the engineer-in-chief (public health) on May 30.After examining the matter, the govt directed that she be posted to the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation with immediate effect, while clarifying that the regularisation of her unauthorised absence would be dealt with separately.
