Bengaluru: A routine early morning visit to a milk dairy turned into a terrifying ordeal for 70-year-old, Krishna Swamy, after two scooter-borne assailants threatened him with a knife and an iron rod before robbing him of Rs 9,000 in Sarayipalya.Swift police action led to the arrest of the accused, identified as Mohammed Nahim (20) and Syed Waseem (26), residents of DJ Halli, within 24 hours.Swamy, a resident of Kempapura, said the incident took place at around 4.30 am on June 17 near a milk dairy. While he was standing outside the dairy, two miscreants threatened him and robbed him of Rs 9,000.Police analysed CCTV footage from the crime scene, arrested the duo, and seized the scooter used in the crime. Further questioning revealed that the accused had spent Rs 8,000 of the robbed cash. Nahim was earlier involved in a murder case.
