Ludhiana: A technical workshop titled “Accelerating Energy Efficiency in MSMEs” gathered over 60 industry leaders, energy experts, and government officials to promote sustainable manufacturing in the textile sector.Jointly organized by the Punjab Energy Development Agency, the District Industries Centre, and a German development agency, the event highlighted the state’s ADEETIE and RAMP programs. Prominent attendees included Textile MSME Association President Vinod Thapar and DIC General Manager S.S. Rekhi.Discussions focused on helping micro, small, and medium enterprises reduce power consumption through modern technology upgrades and resource optimization. Experts explained how these government schemes provide technical support, detailed energy audits, and financial incentives to help local factories adopt energy-efficient systems.
