Patiala: Patiala food safety officials seized 1.25 quintals of paneer during an early-morning inspection at a dairy in Chhatera village and collected a sample for laboratory testing.The remaining stock was seized on suspicion under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. The team later collected three paneer samples and one ghee sample from different premises in Samana. All five samples were sent for laboratory analysis.The food safety department urged food business operators to adhere to safety standards and ensure the supply of quality food products, adding that inspections and sampling would continue to check compliance.
