Varanasi: Community Health Centre (CHC) Cholapur in Varanasi has been honoured at the state level for its excellent utilisation of pre-authorisation and claim incentives under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.The award was presented during a state-level ceremony held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow on Wednesday. The event reviewed achievements, outstanding work and future action plans under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.UP deputy chief minister and health minister Brajesh Pathak presented the award. The recognition is being seen as a significant achievement for Varanasi district in the field of healthcare services.Cholapur CHC superintendent Dr RB Yadav said the honour was the result of the hard work and dedication of the entire hospital team. Chief medical officer, Varanasi, Dr NP Singh said ensuring that the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana reach the maximum number of eligible beneficiaries in the district remains a priority for the Health Department.On behalf of Cholapur CHC, the citation was received by deputy CMO Dr Amit Singh, district nodal Officer of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, along with Dr Jitendra Yadav and Ayushman Mitra Sunil Kumar Kannaujia.
