Itanagar: The Tawang district administration in Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday issued a fresh advisory warning residents of an increased risk of landslides and mudslides following several days of continuous rain, an official report said.The administration warned of a possible mudslide along the downstream areas of Bomdir Nallah and urged people living near streams, nallahs and landslide-prone areas to remain vigilant.A team led by assistant commissioner Tenzin Jambey, along with district disaster management officer Genden Tsomu and representatives of the Indian Army’s Tawang Brigade, surveyed Mhenkhar and Bhuip areas towards PTSO, where large-scale landslide activity has been observed.
