Bengaluru: A two-year-old girl who unknowingly walked away from home while playing was rescued and reunited with her family by city police. The incident took place at Vrushabavatinagar in Kamakshipalya, west Bengaluru, Friday morning.Passersby noticed the child playing outside a hotel and, after realising she was alone, called police control room. “Assistant sub-inspector Prakash G and constable Pramod Gowda reached the spot and asked the child to accompany them. Knowing she lived nearby, they walked into lanes, questioning residents about her parents,” a senior police officer said.One of the residents recognised the child and called her mother. “The mother said she was inside the house when the child went out to play. Fortunately, the girl walked on the pavement and didn’t step on the busy road,” the officer said.
