Ajmer: Two men died and another was injured Monday morning when a truck hit them near Jhadawas village as they returned to their village Tatoti in Kekri block of the district after taking kanwar from Pushkar.Police said about 20 people from Tantoti went to take water in a Kanwar yatra Sunday, and on Monday morning they were returning to their village on three separate motorcycles. Near Jhadawas village, Rahul Jain (38), Sampat Rawat (41) and Sachin Kumar (37) stopped their motorcycle to use the toilet while other Kanwariyas rode along.Police said a truck coming from the Ajmer side hit the three, killing Rahul and Sampat and badly injuring Sachin. Sachin was taken to Nasirabad hospital, where doctors, after assessing his condition, referred him to JLN hospital in Ajmer.Police reached the spot, registered a case against an unknown truck driver and said they were looking for the truck. After a post-mortem, police handed the bodies of Rahul and Sampat to their families.Police said Rahul was the son of the former chairperson of the Nagar Palika of Tantoti.
