Rajkot: A 32-year-old constable posted under Kutch East Police has submitted his resignation from the police service, expressing his desire to permanently work for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the BJP to support the Union government.Ramgar Mohangar, who has served at Adesar Police Station for over three years, submitted his resignation letter to the superintendent of police (SP) of Kutch East on Aug 14.In his letter and subsequent statements, Mohangar cited recent political developments, including a protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and the subsequent resignation of union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.The constable declared that he intends to dedicate his life to strengthening the RSS and the Modi administration. He further resolved to walk without footwear until the Modi government is re-elected to power at the Centre in 2029.A native of Hamirpar village in Kutch’s Rapar taluka, Mohangar studied up to class XII and joined the police department as part of the 2019 batch. Coming from a farmer family with five brothers and two sisters, he is married and father of three children. He noted that his association with the RSS dates back to his childhood when he regularly attended local shakhas.Before his posting at Adesar, he served in Gandhidham.Following the submission of his letter, the Local Crime Branch (LCB) police inspector verbally informed Mohangar that his resignation could not be accepted for the time being, as the stated grounds were deemed inappropriate.Mohangar stated that he reported to the Adesar Police Station on Monday following a call from the police Inspector. He affirmed that until his resignation is formally processed and accepted, he will continue to carry out his official duties whenever summoned by the department.
