Bengaluru: Said to be depressed over financial issues, a 40-year-old woman and her two children died by suicide by jumping into an agricultural pond at Chatrakodihalli village in Kolar late Friday night.The victims are are domestic help S Pramila and her children Swapna, 22, and Charan, 17, residents of Begli Benajenahalli village. The incident came to light when the pond owner found the floating bodies around 7.30am.“Pramila’s husband, Suresh, is an auto driver and he decided to sell their house owing to financial crisis. Pramila was against it and this probably drove her to take the extreme step with her children,” a police officer said.Swapna had completed her final-year degree exams and was keen on continuing her PG studies, while Ram Charan completed II PU and had appeared for NEET.
