Times News NetworkVasco: The co-passenger of a car died after the vehicle met with a self-accident on the grade separator near Goa International Airport, Dabolim, on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Chaudhary, a native of Mundara Pali, Rajasthan. The incident was reported at around 12.50am.The car, driven by Rajveer Singh, a native of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, was heading towards the Dabolim airport via the grade separator located on the Dabolim side.When the car was travelling on the grade separator, the driver lost control, and the vehicle crashed into the parapet wall/safety barrier of the flyover. This caused grievous injuries to Chaudhary. He was immediately shifted to the Chicalim sub-district hospital, but failed to respond to treatment and later succumbed to his injuries.The impact of the crash was such that the airbags of the vehicle were deployed.Vasco police have registered an offence against the driver of the car under BNS Sections 281 and 106(1). PSI Akanksh Fadte Dessai is investigating the case under the supervision of police inspector Vaibhav Naik.
