Lucknow: Food and civil supplies minister Manoj Kumar Pandey has issued directions for an FIR to be filed against the transport contractor and for blacklisting a firm which failed to supply mid-day meal ration to fair price shop dealers in Sitapur recently.The minister directed the DM to take action in the case, adding that the responsibility of the govt official responsible for supervision in the case will also be determined.Pandey said that in line with the govt’s zero-tolerance policy, corruption, negligence, or any kind of irregularity in govt foodgrain distribution will not be tolerated. “Irregularities in supply of ration meant for the public and children is an extremely serious matter. It is the responsibility of the concerned agency and officials to ensure foodgrain reaches the designated location on time. Anyone found negligent in this regard will not be spared,” the minister said.
