NOIDA: A 36-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the 12th floor of Ace Divino society in Greater Noida West on Friday, police said. The man, identified as Anil Kumar, was a resident of the society and originally hailed from Niwari district in Madhya Pradesh.According to police, information about the incident was received at Bisrakh police station through the emergency response service PRV-112 on Friday. A police team subsequently reached the spot and initiated an inquiry.During the preliminary inquiry, family members told police that Kumar had been suffering from depression. Police are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident.The body was taken into custody, and the necessary inquest proceedings were completed before it was sent for a postmortem examination to ascertain the cause of death, police said.Further legal formalities are underway, and police are gathering details related to the incident. Further action will be taken as required following the investigation and postmortem examination.
